FINALLY, THE DELIVERIES OF JAWA MOTORCYCLES TO COMMENCE THIS WEEK

BUYERS HAVE STARTED RECEIVING MESSAGES FOR THEIR DELIVERIES SCHEDULED BY THIS WEEK. IT HAS BEEN NEARLY 5 MONTHS SINCE THE JAWA MOTORCYCLES HAVE BEEN LAUNCHED. 

Jawa Motorcycles confirmed a couple of weeks back, that it will finally commence the deliveries by the end of March. Now, Jawa dealerships have started sending messages to the buyers as the first lot bikes will be delivered this week. 
For the people who were told that they will get the delivery in March, have received the message. Buyers who were promised of deliveries in April, will recieve notifications early next month.

So, after 5 months, the buyers will finally get their Jawa Motorcycles. Launched back in November 2018, it received an overwhelming response, as the online bookings were already closed a month after its launch.

For the past 2-3 months, less than 100 units are being dispatched to dealerships every month. These units were for display and test rides for dealerships across the country. 
Currently, the company is in the final stages of launching 105 dealerships across the country. The major cities have been covered and currently Tier-II and Tier-III cities are getting dealerships. 
The booking period has now soared up to November 2019. Reportedly, bookings for Jawa Motorcycles might be stopped in Kerala, because of its highest booking numbers. As a result, the bookings of Jawa Perak have also been postponed.

Jawa and Jawa Forty Two use a single-cylinder 293cc liquid-cooled engine. The motor is tuned to deliver 27 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque, with the engine mated to a 6-speed transmission. 
While Jawa is the revived versiom of the old Maroon motorcycle, Forty-Two is a modern version of the new Jawa. There are differences in the fits and finishes between both the motorcycles. 
For suspension both the motorcycles use telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the back. Braking is now managed by front disc-single ABS with an option of twin disc-dual ABS.

Jawa is priced from Rs 1.64 Lakhs up to Rs 1.73 Lakhs. Forty Two goes for Rs 1.55 Lakhs to Rs 1.64 Lakhs. The prices of Perak have also been revealed, which goes for Rs 1.89 Lakhs (prices ex-showroom).
