ROYAL ENFIELD 650 TWINS ARE THE HIGHEST SELLING BIKES IN THEIR SEGMENT

FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2019, ROYAL ENFIELD 650 TWINS HAVE YET AGAIN REPORTED THE HIGHEST SALES. THEY ARE NOW THE BEST SELLERS IN THEIR SEGMENT.

Royal Enfield seems to be riding hard on the success of the 650 Twins. For the month of February 2019, the Duo has reported sales of 1445 units, making them the best selling bikes in this segment.
The Royal Enfield 650 Twins were launched back in November 2018. Since the launch, healthy sales figures have been recorded. For the last month, a total of 1069 sales units was reported.

However, the waiting period on the Royal Enfield 650 Twins is still a month or two. The waiting period is also dependent on the variant and paint job chosen. Our dealership sources reveal that Interceptor 650 is the better selling of both.
Talking about its competitors, KTM Duke 390, TVS Apache RR310, Honda CB300R, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and BMW G 310 R. All these bikes fall in the Rs 2 Lakhs to Rs 3 Lakh budget.
The figures reported by Duke 390 and Apache RR310 are much lower than 300 units per month. Since Ninja 300 and G 310 are from a premium motorcycle manufacturer, their figures are still respectable.

The primary reason for the success of Royal Enfield 650 Twins is its powerful engine and the chic’ appeal. The parallel-twin cylinder 650cc engine, delivers 47 BHP and 52 Nm of peak torque, while mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The sale figures of different colours of each variant have still not been revealed. However, our dealership sources have stated that Ravishing Red and Orange Crush are two popular colours on the INT 650.
While the Continental GT 650 is a retro cafe racer, it offers a crouched riding position. Interceptor, on the other hand, offers a relaxed riding posture because it is a classic roadster.
