Spy Shots of Porsche 997 2008 Model

The Porsche buffs can breathe a sigh of relief, at least for a while. It is difficult to wait for the upgradations on the highly admired Porsche 997, so here are a few Spy shots of the face lifted 997 taking rounds in the United States during hot weather testing.

The changes are visible, for which you can blame the Porsche unit and not our beloved auto Paparazzi, for it is their job, which in this case is pretty well done. Talking about the visible modifications, there is a new fresh looking bumper with smaller indicators and LED daylight driving lights at the front, almost incorporated in the enlarged air intakes.

A look at the rear section reveals a slightly different bumper and taillights, which too have been redesigned using LEDs. From the technical side, Porsche is adding a range of new direct-injection engines, which would see the 997, improve by 10% on the economy and 20 to 25 horses on power.

Frankfurt auto Show would be the venue where the new variants of the 997 would be conventionally displayed as a 2008 model and I guess the spy shots are good enough to keep you people calm until you find yourself thronging the Porsche Section at Frankfurt.
